Cancellation

 We are really sorry but we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds if you are no longer able to attend.  As I'm sure you can understand, we have planned our sessions, staffing and supplies carefully based on the numbers of participants booked in.  If you or your child is no longer able to attend a session, due to illness or other circumstances, we ask that you contact us as soon as possible to let us know. You are welcome to pass the place onto a friend (but please let us know!) or, if we have a waiting list, we may be able to transfer the place to another participant. In that case we may be able to offer you a refund for the missed session(s), however this is not guaranteed. If we have enough notice we are happy to advertise the space on our Facebook page to try to re-fill the space, however we cannot guarantee we will be able to.  In some cases we may also be able to offer you a place on an alternative session, where space is available.

Cancellation due to staff illness

 If any of the Log Circle staff are too ill to run the session we will try to find a suitable (qualified) replacement to ensure the session can still go ahead. If we are unable to find a replacement we will try to add an additional session onto the end of the block. Where this is not possible for us to do you will be offered a refund for the cancelled session. If an alternative session is offered and you are unable to attend, we regret that we are unable to offer a refund.

 Cancellation due to extreme weather

 Although forest school happens in all weathers, safety will always come first. If there is strong wind or extreme thunderstorms, whereby we feel that participants are exposed to unacceptable risk, the session leader may make the decision to move the session to a safer location, or to cancel. We will always try to inform you as soon as possible when this happens. In the event of a cancellation, we will try to add an additional session onto the end of the block. Where this is not possible for us to do you will be offered a refund for the cancelled session. If an alternative session is offered and you are unable to attend, we regret that we are unable to offer a refund.

Minimum numbers per session

 We reserve the right to cancel any session if we do not have enough paid places booked to cover our costs. In these circumstances a minimum of 24 hours notice will be given before the session is cancelled. In this situation you may be given the opportunity to book onto an alternative date, or we will offer you a full refund.    

Payment for sessions

All sessions must be paid in full at the point of booking.  This can be done by bank transfer, or via cheque or cash if you prefer (please check with us first). Your place will not normally be secured until payment has been received so please contact us if you have any problems with paying and we will do what we can to help :)
